Position Overview
The Production Technical Trainer plays a critical role in onboarding and developing production employees by delivering hands-on training in manufacturing processes, equipment operation, and quality standards. This position is responsible for monitoring employee progress, ensuring skill competency, and implementing targeted improvement plans when performance gaps are identified-ultimately supporting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Schedule: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm OR 3pm-11pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This position is responsible for monitoring employee progress, ensuring skill competency, and implementing targeted improvement plans when performance gaps are identified-ultimately supporting a culture of safety, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Schedule: Monday-Friday 2pm-10pm OR 3pm-11pm Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Conduct hands-on training for new hires and existing employees on production processes, work instructions, and equipment operation
- Ensure employees are properly trained on safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies
- Monitor and evaluate employee performance during and after training to ensure skill proficiency
- Track training progress and maintain accurate training records and documentation
- Assess employee competency through observation, testing, and performance metrics
- Identify skill gaps and performance deficiencies and develop targeted improvement plans
- Provide coaching, feedback, and retraining as needed to ensure employees meet expectations
- Collaborate with supervisors and managers to align training with production needs and goals
- Assist in developing, updating, and improving training materials, SOPs, and work instructions
- Support cross-training initiatives to increase workforce flexibility
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement, safety, and quality
- High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or associate degree preferred
- 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- Prior training, coaching, or mentoring experience strongly preferred
- Strong understanding of production processes, equipment, and quality standards
- Ability to clearly communicate and demonstrate technical concepts to a diverse workforce
- Strong observation, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficient in basic computer systems (Microsoft Office, training databases, etc.)
