Looking for Aerospace Assembler jobs in Tucson where teamwork and steady production make a difference? As an Aerospace Assembler, you will build and assemble aerospace components and subassemblies using detailed drawings, bills of material, and work instructions.

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous assembly, manufacturing, or production training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• Must be U.S. Person as defined by ITAR CFR 120.62
• Mechanical assembly experience using hand tools and torque equipment
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, drawings, and work instructions
• Aerospace manufacturing experience is a plus
• Knowledge of AS9100 and AS9102 standards is a plus
• Clean room or controlled-environment experience is a plus

Job Duties

• Assemble aerospace components and subassemblies using drawings, work instructions, and bills of material
• Perform mechanical assembly tasks including fastening, torquing, pinning, and installing hardware and inserts
• Verify part numbers, revisions, and quantities throughout the assembly process
• Inspect and test completed assemblies to ensure they meet engineering and quality standards
• Use hand tools, torque equipment, and precision measuring instruments safely and accurately
• Document completed work and maintain accurate production records
• Follow quality procedures, work instructions, and safety requirements
• Maintain a clean, organized, and FOD-conscious work area
• Support production goals while ensuring compliance with aerospace manufacturing standards and

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous factory, manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse experience is preferred.
• Experience working on production lines or assembling mechanical, electrical, or consumer products is beneficial.
• Knowledge of quality inspection, Lean manufacturing, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, adaptability, teamwork, and attention to detail are well positioned for success as a Aerospace Assembler.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive assembly tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift components, materials, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Manual dexterity to safely handle parts and operate assembly tools or equipment.
• Ability to maintain productivity in a factory environment while following established safety procedures.
