If you have a strong work ethic and integrity, we want you on our team. The preferred candidate will be outgoing, highly self‑motivated, and able to problem‑solve. They will have strong communication skills and a professional image, and be able to handle all aspects of a project from installation to programming, with strong troubleshooting skills and service and inspection work. We also offer entry‑level positions with on‑the‑job training. Job Responsibilities Report to the Division and Service Manager and work with Project Managers, Administrators, Schedule Coordinators, and Sales staff to ensure proper project performance and client satisfaction. Perform tests, inspections, maintenance, and repairs. Conduct site verifications of fire alarm installations. Perform fire alarm system repair and inspections. Be available for scheduled overtime work and periodic after‑hours on‑call time to meet customer service needs. Analyze blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams. Coordinate with other disciplines, engineers, general contractors, and end users. Interact with clients, field personnel, and Fire Marshals. Job Qualifications Knowledge of NFPA 72, UL, Factory Mutual and applicable codes. NICET I Certification or willingness to receive the certification within 1 year. NICET II Certification or willingness to receive the certification within 2 years. OSHA 10 required; OSHA 30 a plus. Experience with iPad and computer systems is a plus. Manufacturers certificates are preferred. Minimum of 3 years of service or installation experience. Ability to work independently and in a group or training environment. Knowledgeable with programming and troubleshooting multiple fire alarm panel manufacturers. High School diploma or equivalent. Understanding of expenses and schedules. Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, and Iowa. Willingness to pass a post‑offer drug test, background check, and reference check. Physical Requirements Ability to lift up to 50lbs with or without reasonable accommodation. Regular bending, reaching, climbing, and walking. Will be required to safely use ladders and lifts to work at heights as needed.
