Responsibilities Direct sales activities for the branch and sales team. Develop and maintain customer relationships with exceptional service. Oversee customer complaint resolution and ensure timely, positive experiences. Follow company credit and return policies. Promote and support company-wide product promotions and demonstrate product features. Cooperate with vendors, manufacturers, and co‑workers to foster teamwork and a positive work environment. Maintain professional relationships with vendors and business partners. Interview, hire, and evaluate employees in accordance with company policies and legal requirements. Enforce company policies, recognize personnel issues, and apply corrective action including termination when necessary. Represent the company’s interests professionally and ethically in all interactions. Support and comply with corporate department procedures (Credit, Pricing, Accounting, Operations, HR). Assign job duties to maintain a smooth, efficient branch operation with minimal overtime. Ensure productivity, quality, and staff morale, and maintain daily communication on job knowledge and policy changes. Maintain building, vehicles, and equipment in clean, safe condition. Create and manage the branch budget, including inventory, sales, and overhead goals. Achieve profitability targets, manage inventory turns, and control overhead expenses. Develop and execute a sales plan to increase market share, sales volume, and gross margins. Qualifications Four‑year college degree preferred; minimum of a two‑year associate’s degree or equivalent technical degree. Minimum of four years of industry‑related experience (product, sales, purchasing, project, or operations); management or supervisory experience preferred. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving history and insurance coverage. Knowledge of electrical products and applications. Strong selling, negotiation, pricing, and terms‑setting skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills with ability to present ideas and solutions to customers. Proficiency in basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, decimals) and commercial calculations (discounts, percentages, commissions). Excellent customer service and communication abilities. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Commitment to confidentiality and ethical business conduct. Understanding of workplace safety practices.
