Key Responsibilities

• Performing thorough patient assessments, prescribing diagnostic tests, and developing tailored care strategies
• Diagnosing and managing a range of health issues, collaborating with physicians or practicing autonomously based on your credentials
• Informing patients and their families about prevention strategies, wellness, and managing chronic conditions
• Administering medications and therapies as permitted by your practice authority
• Engaging in patient follow-ups and the management of chronic care cases

What We're Looking For

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP)
• Graduation from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program

Essential Certifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner licensure in Texas
• National certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C, AANP or ANCC) or an equivalent specialty
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
