About the Role
Responsible for managing day-to-day field operations from project start through completion, overseeing subcontractors and self-perform teams while maintaining schedule, safety, quality and client satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily field operations and project schedules
- Supervise subcontractors and self-perform crews
- Develop and maintain 4-week lookahead schedules
- Coordinate inspections, quality control and safety
- Manage client, subcontractor and project meetings
- Monitor work for compliance with contract documents
- Oversee punch list and project closeout
- Maintain daily reports, timecards and schedule updates
- Identify issues proactively and drive solutions
- Train and mentor supporting field staff
Qualifications
- 7+ years of commercial/institutional construction experience
- GC experience required
- Experience managing projects around $5M–$8M xhyhwjd
- Government contracting experience preferred
Required Skills
- Strong understanding of construction means and methods
- OSHA 30, First Aid & CPR
- USACE/NAVFAC CQC certification preferred
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- US Citizenship required for most positions
