Join a high-acuity adult critical care team in a fast-paced short-term acute care hospital and bring your critical care expertise to a collaborative Pacific Northwest healthcare setting.Job Details\n \n Assignment Type: Travel RN / ICU nursing job\n Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,050 - $2,160\n Setting: Adult ICU in a short-term acute care hospital\n Location: Portland, Oregon 97213\n Duration: 26 weeks\n Shift: 12-hour nights, 3 shifts per week (36 hours weekly)\n Weekend Coverage: Required, with weekends worked at least every other weekend\n Float Requirement: May float to other units and nearby facilities based on patient care needs\n Charting System: Epic\n Start Date: 9/28/2026\n Job Requirements\n \n Minimum 2 years of ICU experience\n Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Oregon or compact license in hand at submission\n Current ACLS, BLS, NIHSS, and CCRN certifications\n Strong Epic charting experience required\n Experience with critical care skills such as ventilator management, arterial line management, vasoactive drips, central line care, blood product administration, and continuous sedation\n Comfortable caring for unstable adult critical care patients with a patient ratio of 1:1 or 1:2\n Reliable vehicle and flexibility to support floating assignments as needed\n Responsibilities\n \n Provide direct, high-quality nursing care for adult ICU patients with complex and evolving needs\n Monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygenation, hemodynamics, and invasive lines while responding promptly to changes in condition\n Manage ventilators, CRRT, ECG monitoring, vasoactive infusions, and other advanced critical care therapies\n Support patients with diagnoses and interventions including ARDS, ECMO, post-neurosurgery care, pulmonary embolism, and multisystem organ dysfunction\n Coordinate care with interdisciplinary teams to promote safe, efficient patient outcomes\n Maintain accurate documentation in Epic and uphold strong infection prevention and patient safety practices\n Adapt to floating assignments as needed to support unit and facility needs\n Why This Travel Nursing Opportunity\n \n Competitive travel nurse pay in a desirable Portland healthcare market\n Opportunity to work in a high-acuity critical care environment\n Supportive interdisciplinary team and strong clinical experience\n Great fit for experienced ICU nurses seeking Oregon nursing jobs\n \n Apply now to join this ICU travel RN opportunity in Portland, Oregon and advance your critical care nursing career.
