Our remote-first structure means our traders work from wherever they choose. Position Overview We are looking for options strategists to join our proprietary trading firm. You will design and execute multi-leg options strategies using firm-allocated capital, leveraging volatility analysis and Greeks-based positioning to generate consistent returns in a fully remote trading environment. Location Chicago, IL Employment Type Independent Contractor (1099) Experience Level 2+ years trading or managing investments Key Responsibilities Develop and execute options strategies including directional, spread, and volatility plays Analyze implied volatility, Greeks, and options pricing models to identify opportunities Manage multi-leg options positions with disciplined risk protocols Monitor and adjust open positions based on market conditions and Greeks changes Maintain detailed logs of all options trades and strategy rationale Optionally collaborate with a network of remote traders for insights and growth Required Qualifications Two years or more of demonstrated trading experience with documented results preferred Fluency in core trading concepts: liquidity, volatility, risk-adjusted return Track record of disciplined execution and rule-following under live conditions Coachable mindset and openness to feedback from peers and risk staff Dependable home setup with backup power or connectivity is a plus Comfort with at least one professional-grade charting and order entry platform Position Details Engagement structured as a 1099 independent contractor relationship Compensation entirely performance-based with profit splits from 65% to 90% Firm-funded starting capital up to $50,000; advance to $500,000+ over time Fully remote position — no office requirement, ever Capital increases are tied to documented trading performance and risk discipline Additional perks, scaling bonuses, and program details discussed at interview stage Our Work Culture We hire traders who want to be accountable to themselves and to a process — not to a manager.
