Trainee Recruitment consultant — US Desk Are you a candidate-focused recruiter who enjoys building relationships, delivering exceptional talent, and working in high-performance specialist markets? Due to continued growth across our global business and the opening of our New York office in August, we're looking for a Graduate Recruiter to join our New York office, supporting Four high performing Consultants focused on the US market with resourcing and candidate delivery and management. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives on the candidate side of recruitment and wants to play a key role in building and scaling a best-in-class delivery function within a growing international search business. You'll work closely with experienced consultants on mandates across front office roles within PE/VC-backed companies, partnering with some of the most prestigious financial institutions and investment firms globally. For the right individual, there is genuine long-term progression available - including the opportunity to help shape and lead the delivery function as the business continues to scale internationally. Ideal Candidate Is ambitious, competitive and motivated by financial reward Thrives in a fast paced, target driven environment and sees pressure as a motivator Naturally confident and comfortable to pick up the phone and speak to people Has a genuine interest in financial services and is keen to independently build a deep expertise in niche sector Has resilience - Ability to bounce back quickly and take feedback onboard Loves building relationships and able to make an impression quickly Want to be part of something which is growing - excited by the idea of being an early hire in a global organisation Hungry to learn and develop quickly with real ambition to progress into a senior billing or leadership role Looking for a career in recruitment and sales - Not just a job Has a strong work ethic and takes ownership Responsibilities Supporting three Senior Consultants across live US mandates within Investment Banking, Credit, and Private Equity Building and managing high-quality candidate pipelines across front-office finance markets Delivering exceptional talent to leading investment banks and private equity firms Conducting headhunting, market mapping, and competitor analysis Managing recruitment processes from initial outreach through to offer stage Building long-term relationships with high-performing finance professionals across the US market Contributing to the growth and development of the wider delivery function Experience Required Degree educated Financial services recruitment experience is advantageous but not essential Experience working in a sales, business development or recruitment environment What We Offer Clear progression path within a growing international business Opportunity to help build and shape a scalable delivery function Unlimited annual leave Uncapped commission structure 401k
