Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a float pool PCU/Telemetry position requiring Cerner experience and the ability to float between four facilities.

Details

• Float pool position covering Medical/Surgical/Telemetry units
• Must be willing to float between four facilities: Northwest Medical Center, Oro Valley Hospital, Northwest Houghton, and Northwest Sahuarita
• Step-down unit from ICU requiring care for cardiac drip patients
• Day shift schedule of 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, 3x12-hour shifts
• Patient ratio of 6:1
• Work 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Uses Cerner EMR

Requirements

• Active AZ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• Experience handling cardiac drips required
• Familiarity with TAVR and WATCHMAN mitral clip procedures required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of start
• No employment gaps of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Valid driver's license and US Social Security number required for consideration

Additional Information

• Scrubs of any color are accepted
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any CHS facility within the past 2 years
• RTO requests must be less than 1 week
• Must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
