- MUST KNOW HOW TO DRIVE MANUAL TRANSMISSION!!!
- MUST KNOW HOW TO WORK PTO
- Operate dump trucks safely and efficiently.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Transport dirt, gravel, sand, asphalt, rock, and other materials to job sites.
- Load and unload materials safely.
- Operate the hydraulic dump body and make sure the load is properly secured.
- Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
- Comply with DOT, company, and job-site safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery tickets, logs, and other required paperwork.
- Communicate with dispatchers, supervisors, equipment operators, and customers.
- Keep the truck clean and report mechanical problems or damage immediately.
- Monitor tires, brakes, fluids, lights, and other basic equipment conditions.
- Follow proper procedures when backing, dumping, and working around heavy equipment.
- Use proper PPE and follow all construction-site safety requirements.
- Assist with basic truck maintenance when required.
- Maintain a professional attitude and provide good customer service.
- Report accidents, incidents, delays, or unsafe conditions promptly.
