Our pediatric unit provides 24-hour specialized care for patients ranging from birth to 21-years old who have complex medical needs.

Our team of nurses work in a collaborative, interdisciplinary, family-centered environment and provide compassionate, professional care while empowering children to live their best lives.

Some of the many important tasks that RNs perform include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Performs nursing tasks for pediatric patients for both our medically complex and inpatient rehabilitation unit
• Completes pediatric assessments, respiratory care, trach care, suctioning, neb treatments, and ventilator use
• Communicates a clear picture of a child's health and any changes in their status
• Serves as a primary nurse within a specific unit
• Administers medications/enteral feedings
• Promotes health and safety
• Building relationships with our long-term patients and their families

Education and experience: Graduate of an accredited Registered Nurse (RN) program required. Valid South Dakota RN licensure required. Prior nursing and/or direct care experience preferred. All positions require a clear background check and drug screen upon conditional offer.
