Finance Manager

HIFI is a stablecoin infrastructure company building technology for the next-generation of financial products. We build developer tools that allow value to be programmed—with rules, behavior, and logic embedded directly at the asset level. Institutions and enterprises already use our platform and API's to move billions of dollars in production environments around the world. But we view this as the beginning rather than the end. Founded in 2022, our organization is flat and our team is talent dense. We are in person at our office in Flatiron and are intentional about who we work with. We've raised $33 million from world-class investors and recently closed a Series A lead by Left Lane Capital. About the Team HIFI is building its Finance function for the first time. As the company scales from an early-stage startup into a long-term, category-defining platform, this role will define how HIFI manages, reports on, and forecasts its finances. The Finance Manager works directly with the CEO and finance/ops lead to own the company's books, reporting, and forecasting. This is a hands-on execution role. You'll be the one closing the books and building the models the company runs on, not overseeing a team that does it for you. Responsibilities Own monthly close: reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and reporting onchain transaction data Build and maintain financial models for revenue, cash flow, and headcount planning Track key metrics (MRR, gross margin, burn, runway) and report on financial health Partner with the CEO and ops lead on budgeting, board reporting, and investor updates Manage banking relationships, payments infrastructure accounting, and vendor invoicing Support fundraising diligence: data rooms, financial statements, and investor Q&A Maintain compliance with tax filings, audits, and regulatory reporting requirements Reconcile customer-facing activity (API usage, transaction volume) against recognized revenue Build scalable processes for onchain-to-GAAP accounting as transaction volume and client count grow You might be a fit if 3-6 years of experience in finance or accounting, ideally in high-growth startups, fintech, or crypto Track record of owning finance operations in fast-moving, resource-constrained environments Fluent in GAAP, cash vs. accrual accounting, and financial modeling Comfortable with ambiguity and building process from scratch Comfortable reconciling messy, non-standard data (onchain transactions, API usage logs, multi-rail payment flows) against a clean ledger Track record of running board reporting or investor updates under real time pressure You want ownership over the numbers a CEO uses to run the company, not a narrow lane within a larger finance org Why This Role Matters This is a chance to build the finance function of a stablecoin payments infrastructure company from scratch, and to define how it operates as the company scales.
