Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN)

Location: Lawrence, KS

Schedule:

• HR Orientations: Mondays during the day
• Unit Orientations: Vary by unit
• Hours: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 7 PM - 7 AM
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week, with no set schedule

Responsibilities:

• Provide patient care on a medical-surgical unit during night shifts.
• Support unit needs, including weekend shifts as required.
• Assist during holidays as needed.
• Float to other units as necessary to meet patient care needs.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Medical Surgical Registered Nurse (RN) in an acute care setting.
• Step-down experience is preferred but not required.
• BLS certification is required.
• Active Kansas RN license must be held in advance.
• New graduates will not be considered for this role.

Credential requirements are due by the Wednesday prior to the start of the assignment.
