Surgical Technologist / Scrub Tech – General, Vascular & Neuro

Contract (13 Weeks) | Days | 4x10 Schedule | 0600–0700 Start Time | Onsite

Key Responsibilities

• Perform surgical scrub duties across general, vascular, and neuro procedures in a high-volume OR environment spanning two campuses at a Level II Trauma Center with 30 OR suites
• Float between two campuses located approximately 8 miles apart based on skillset and operational needs; mid-shift floating is possible
• Participate in on-call rotation: 1x per week and every 6th weekend , with a 30-minute response time required; weeknight call runs from end of shift to the following morning, weekend call runs from Friday after shift through Monday at 0700
• Work weekends and holidays as scheduled
• Document and chart using EPIC (preferred)
• Adapt to a dynamic surgical environment, demonstrating resilience and the ability to manage change effectively

Required Qualifications

• NBSTSA CST Certification required (credentials must be verifiable upon submittal)
• AHA BLS Certification required
• Minimum 1 year of CST experience in the OR
• At least 1 prior completed travel assignment required
• Strong hands-on skillset in general, vascular, and neuro surgical specialties
• Must live at least 40 miles from the facility to be eligible

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Experience with EPIC charting system
• Prior experience in a Level II Trauma Center or multi-campus OR setting
• Demonstrated ability to float between facilities and adapt to varying surgical assignments
