Behavioral Health Fellow 26/27 Atrius Health - Quincy, MA

The Atrius Health Behavioral Health Fellowship offers intensive training in integrative primary and multi‑specialty medical group therapy. Fellows practice and receive supervision at Harvard Vanguard Medical Associates (HVMA), a non‑profit multi‑specialty medical group that serves 740,000 adults and children in 34 offices across eastern Massachusetts. Each fellow provides behavioral health care to a caseload of general psychotherapy patients and may select a subspecialty focus in Trauma, Eating Disorders, Addictions, or Women’s Mental Health. Primary Responsibilities Psychotherapy skill development — Fellows attend weekly didactic seminars and individual/group supervision, receive training in time‑limited therapy modalities such as Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Trauma‑Informed Care, and participate in ongoing supervision to refine skills. Research / Program Development in Subspecialty Area — Each fellow selects a subspecialty area of interest and collaborates with a faculty mentor to develop, implement, and evaluate a project that addresses the needs of behavioral health patients or clinicians in that area. Teaching in the Subspecialty Area — Fellows design and facilitate training in their chosen subspecialty, providing consultation to medical staff, creating in‑service trainings for department clinicians, and teaching other fellows. Required Qualifications Doctoral psychologist or master‑prepared social worker who has completed the requirements for an MSW and has obtained an LCSW license in Massachusetts before treating patients in the fellowship program. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Preferred Qualification Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, which may be required based on identified specialty. Benefits Hourly pay ranges from $24.00 to $43.00 per hour for full‑time employment.
