Accounting Supervisor

Accounting SupervisorPermian Resources is currently seeking an Accounting Supervisor reporting to the Assistant Controller in Midland, Texas. This position will be responsible for overseeing monthly close activities, analyzing actuals vs. estimates, preparing analysis of key monthly metrics, supporting the Assistant Controller and Controller across all operational accounting functions, establishing and maintaining strong relationships with various departments, assisting in budget and forecasting process, leveraging AI tools to drive efficiency, and providing support for special projects.Minimum qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or equivalent experience, proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), strong organizational and analytical skills, ability to prioritize activities and meet all deadlines, and strong written and verbal communication skills. Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a positive and flexible attitude in a fast-paced work environment.Preferred qualifications include 10+ years of accounting experience, oil and gas experience, and quorum accounting software experience.Permian Resource is an equal opportunity employer.
