Over-the-Phone Sales Representative


Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $600 Weekly + Commission (if applicable)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, [Hours]

Position Summary


We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Over-the-Phone Sales Representative to join our team. This position is responsible for contacting prospective and existing customers by phone, identifying their needs, presenting products or services, and closing sales. The ideal candidate is confident, professional, persistent, and comfortable making a high volume of outbound calls.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Make outbound calls to prospective and existing customers.
• Answer inbound sales calls and respond to customer inquiries.
• Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products or services.
• Explain product features, benefits, pricing, and promotions.
• Build rapport and maintain strong relationships with customers.
• Generate new sales leads and follow up with potential customers.
• Overcome customer objections and confidently ask for the sale.
• Meet or exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals.
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information in the company CRM system.
• Follow up with leads and previous customers to generate additional business.
• Document customer interactions and sales activity.
• Provide professional and courteous customer service.
• Work closely with management and other departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Stay knowledgeable about company products, services, pricing, and promotions.

Qualifications

• Previous sales, telemarketing, call center, or customer service experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and active listening skills.
• Comfortable making a high volume of phone calls.
• Ability to confidently overcome objections and close sales.
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
• Professional and positive telephone manner.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn CRM/software systems.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.

Physical & Work Environment


This is primarily an office/remote-based position requiring extended periods of telephone and computer use. The employee must be able to communicate effectively by phone and remain focused in a fast-paced sales environment.
