About the Position

Job Title: RN Profession: Nursing Specialty: Behavioral Health Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 18:45 - 07:15 Hours per Shift: 36 Experience: 2+ years License: RN license required in Tennessee Certifications: BLS, HWC (available on-site) Must-Have Skills/Experience: Psychiatric nursing experience. Description: Urgent need for a registered nurse in the behavioral health specialty. Candidates must be available to start as soon as possible. This position involves providing quality health care to patients in a behavioral health unit. The ideal candidate will have experience in psychiatric nursing. Geriatric psychiatric experience is preferred. Experience on a medical floor is also preferred. Common diagnoses include Alzheimer’s, behavioral disturbance, failure to thrive, depression, and suicidal ideation. The work environment is team-oriented. Every other weekend availability is required (Saturday and Sunday). Float requirements may include assistance on a medical-surgical floor if needed. A strong commitment to patient care and teamwork is essential.
