A large, growing automotive dealership group is seeking an experienced  Social Media Director to lead social media strategy, content development, and digital engagement across a portfolio of approximately 30 dealership locations.

This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for a creative, strategic, and results-driven social media professional who understands how to turn great content into measurable business results.

The Social Media Director will oversee social strategy across all major platforms, lead content production, manage campaigns and calendars, analyze performance, and work closely with dealership leadership and marketing teams to increase brand awareness, customer engagement, dealership traffic, and lead generation.

• Work with major automotive brands, new vehicle launches, and high-impact campaigns

• Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies across approximately 30 automotive dealership locations
• Lead social media strategy across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and other relevant platforms
• Create and manage content calendars with consistent, localized content for individual dealership locations
• Direct the production of video, photography, graphics, Reels, TikToks, Stories, and promotional content
• Develop campaigns designed to increase brand awareness, engagement, website traffic, and lead generation
• Lead social campaigns supporting vehicle launches, sales events, promotions, community initiatives, and brand partnerships
• Monitor social media performance and provide monthly and quarterly reporting on results and opportunities
• Use performance data and platform insights to continually optimize content and campaign strategy
• Collaborate with dealership leadership, sales teams, marketing teams, and creative partners to align social initiatives with business goals
• Manage social media budgets, influencers, vendors, and external agencies
• Lead, mentor, and manage social media and content team members
• Maintain brand consistency while developing content that feels authentic and relevant to individual dealership markets
• Stay ahead of emerging social media trends, platform updates, content formats, and automotive marketing best practices

• Proven professional experience developing and executing social media strategy
• Experience managing social media for multiple locations, brands, or business units strongly preferred
• Automotive or dealership marketing experience is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging social platforms
• Experience with organic and paid social media campaigns
• Strong video, photography, content production, and creative direction skills
• Demonstrated ability to use analytics and performance data to improve results
• Excellent project management and organizational skills
• Ability to manage multiple locations, campaigns, projects, and deadlines simultaneously
• Strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
• Experience managing employees, agencies, vendors, or creative partners
• Understanding of automotive retail, dealership operations, and the customer journey is a plus
