Position Responsibilities:Design high speed digital circuits and perform signal integrity analysisFocus on electronic systems and electrical design, simulation and verification/validation testing of high-speed printed circuit boards (PCB) throughout full product development cycleProviding design guidelines and support for system architecture design, board layout, product bring-up, debug, validation, and factory buildsThis position requires obtaining a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim U.S. secret clearance Pre Start and final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering (with a focus in Electrical, Mechanical or Aeronautical), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement3 or more years of related work experienceExperience in digital circuit designPreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):Bachelor’s or higher in Electrical EngineeringAbility to develop design verification plan and perform system integrationExperience in high-speed digital circuit design with ability to perform signal integrity simulations for multiple high-speed standards like 100G Ethernet, DDR3/4, PCIeExperience in processor board design or complex digital design including processor or FPGA System on a chip (SoC)Perform circuit analysis and circuit design and digital circuit design in LTSpice or similarFamiliar with high-speed serial interface protocol like ethernet, PCIeExperience in FPGA sizing and power to support board designStrong understanding of PCB in design for manufacturing (DFM)Ability to perform post board layout signal integrity analysisAbility to perform digital high speed design verification and validation including measurementsAbility to mentor others and guide other in digital high-speed design and analysisExperience in schematic capture using Siemen (formally Mentor Graphic) Expedition ToolAbility to operate as electrical lead to coordinate the rest of the electrical design team for complex custom electronic systemsDrug Free Workplace:Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace (DFW) where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.Total Rewards & Pay Transparency:At Boeing, we strive to deliver a Total Rewards package that will attract, engage and retain the top talent.
