We are looking for a dependable, hands-on Handyman / Property Maintenance Worker to assist with a variety of home repairs, property improvements, renovations, and outdoor maintenance projects in Dadeville, Alabama.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with their hands, fixing things, solving problems, and learning new skills. No prior professional experience is required -we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, reliability, and a willingness to learn.

The work involves a variety of indoor and outdoor projects, including basic repairs, painting, flooring, plumbing, carpentry, landscaping, and general property maintenance. You should be comfortable using tools, performing physical labor, and working outdoors in hot weather, dirt, mud, and other challenging conditions.

Projects will be assigned with defined scopes of work, allocated hours, and agreed-upon hourly rates. Bonuses may be available for completing work ahead of schedule while meeting quality standards and customer expectations.

Duties will vary depending on project needs and may include:

• General Repairs: Perform basic home repairs, property maintenance, and improvement tasks.

• Painting: Prepare surfaces and complete interior and exterior painting.

• Flooring: Assist with installing luxury vinyl plank (LVP) flooring and other flooring-related tasks.

• Carpentry: Complete minor wood repairs, trim work, board replacement, and other basic carpentry projects.

• Plumbing: Assist with basic plumbing repairs, including replacing faucets, showerheads, toilets, and supply lines, fixing minor leaks, and clearing simple clogs.

• Bathroom Renovations: Assist with bathroom repairs, fixture replacement, and renovation projects.

• Pressure Washing: Clean decks, walkways, buildings, and other exterior surfaces.

• Dock Maintenance: Replace damaged boards, perform minor repairs, and assist with dock improvements.

• Landscaping: Handle yard cleanup, brush removal, trimming, mulching, and general outdoor upkeep.

• Irrigation: Troubleshoot sprinkler systems, replace sprinkler heads, and assist with basic irrigation repairs.

• Mechanical and Technical Tasks: Use hand tools and basic equipment to troubleshoot problems, identify issues, and perform routine maintenance.

• Basic Electrical Diagnostics: Assist with basic troubleshooting using a voltmeter or multimeter, within applicable safety and licensing requirements.

• General Labor: Move materials, prepare work areas, remove debris, haul unwanted items, and maintain clean, organized workspaces.

• No formal handyman experience or professional certification is required; training may be provided.

• Mechanically inclined, technically minded, and comfortable working with tools.

• Willing to learn new repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting skills.

• Able to perform physical work, lift materials, and work in outdoor conditions, including heat, dirt, and mud.

• Dependable, punctual, safety-conscious, and able to follow instructions.

• Able to work independently as skills develop and complete assigned tasks efficiently.

• Must have reliable personal transportation to and from the worksite.

• Must be willing to take on different types of projects and adapt to changing priorities.

• Must be authorized and qualified to perform any regulated work assigned, as applicable.
