Food Service Supervisor
At Bensonhurst Center for Rehabilitation & Healthcare the Food Service Supervisor delivers warm smiles, friendly conversations, and healthy meals that soothe the soul. Assist the Director in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, evaluating, and directing the Food Service Department, its programs and activities. Food Service Supervisor Job Type: Full time rotating weekends
Supervises employees engaged in serving food to residents, maintaining cleanliness of food service areas and equipment.
Assigns and coordinates work of employees to promote efficiency of operations.
Supervises serving of meals.
Inspects kitchen and dining areas, kitchen utensils, and equipment to ensure sanitary standards are met.
May direct preparation of foods and beverages
Must be able to work as a team member
Food Service Supervisor Requirements:
Supervisory Food Service experience at a healthcare facility with 1-2 years required.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work as a team member.
Ability to work effectively and efficiently.
A positive and upbeat attitude
Fully Vaccinated Individual
