About the Position

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care in a 16-bed ICU/CCU unit maintaining a 1:2 RN-to-patient ratio
• Monitor and manage critically ill patients using cardiac monitoring systems, ventilators, IV pumps, and tube feed pumps
• Assist with and support procedures including intubations and central line placement
• Document patient care accurately using the Meditech EMR system
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including charge RNs and patient care technicians to deliver high-quality critical care

• Active RN license valid in the state of Colorado (or Compact license)
• Minimum 1 year of current ICU hospital experience
• ACLS certification required
• BLS certification required
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required

• Experience with medical ICU and neurological patient populations
• Prior experience with Meditech EMR
• Collaborative, team-oriented approach to patient care
