Key Highlights Weekly pay: $2,384–$2,595 per week Guaranteed hours: 40 hours per week Contract duration: 13 weeks Shift: 5 days per week, 8-hour shifts Start date: 09/03/2026 Setting: hospital-based physical therapy service Employment type: Travel - Temporary Assignment Location: Delta, Colorado, United States Responsibilities Assess patients across the lifespan (pediatric through geriatric), interpret evaluations and test results, and determine physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription Administer physical therapy treatments using manual exercises, modalities, traction, and therapeutic devices; supervise and direct aides, technicians, and assistants Evaluate treatment effects, monitor progress, and adjust treatment plans; participate in discharge planning with the care team and design home exercise programs Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on home exercise programs; teach use of assistive devices and prosthetic/orthotic fittings as appropriate Maintain thorough documentation of services rendered in patient records; uphold confidentiality and infection‑control practices; ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment Contribute to team knowledge through in-service training, stay current with professional standards, and support compliance with regulatory requirements Requirements Active Physical Therapy license issued by the Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required Knowledge of principles and methods for diagnosing, treating, and rehabilitating physical and mental dysfunctions; ability to counsel and guide patients Strong understanding of patient care principles, customer service, and effective communication; proficiency in English (spoken and written) Ability to assess, plan, implement, and document physical therapy care for a diverse patient population in a hospital setting Ability to collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other health professionals; maintain professional standards and patient confidentiality Benefits and Support Benefits and assignment support details are not specified in this posting Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
