Position Title: Maintenance Mechanic - Hourly

Location: Seneca Falls, NY

Shift: 2nd Shift (3:30pm-12am)

Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required

Experience: 2-4 years of experience is required

Position Responsibilities:

• Install, repair or move various sizes and types of foundry machinery and equipment

• Maintain adequate stock of spare parts for foundry equipment

• Use a lathe, drill, forge power hammer, and welding equipment to repair foundry machines

• Replace parts in foundry equipment

• Work from drawings, charts, and sketches, use micrometers, dividers, calipers, protractors and other tools as necessary to complete a repair job

• All activities associated with the analysis and repair of all electrical and mechanical problems on foundry systems and equipment

• May be responsible for minor plumbing and welding 

Position Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent is required; trade school or trade training is preferred

• 2-4 years of experience is required

• Ability to work from sketches, drawings, layouts or general instructions for repairs

• Ability to use scale, ruler, level, calipers, micrometer, etc for repairs

• Knowledge of elementary mechanic, power transmission problems and foundry machines
