Material HandlerExcellent opportunity for material handlers seeking hands-on experience in manufacturing, logistics, and warehouse operations with a leading biotech organization. Our client, a biotech organization based in Hopkinton, MA, has a contract opening for a material handler. In this high-impact role, you will perform physical or administrative tasks involved in shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.Important details:12-month contract opportunity with possibility to extendHopkinton, MA– Fully Onsite (5 days/week)Monday-Friday (40 hours/week)Pay range approved: $20-24/HR, depending on experienceShift: Mon-Fri (9:00 AM-5:30 PM)Responsibilities:Performs the physical or administrative tasks involved in the shipping, receiving, storing, distributing, and order fulfillment of merchandise, products, materials, parts, supplies, and equipment.Checks goods received and for distribution against purchase orders or invoices, maintains records of goods, and rejects unsatisfactory items.Packages and prepares products and merchandise for final shipment and posts weights and shipping charges.Lifts heavy items and may operate a forklift.Prepares and maintains records of merchandise shipped.Reviews customer orders, examines, stocks, and distributes merchandise, products, and materials in inventory warehouses, distribution centers, or manufacturing lines.Minimum candidate qualifications and experience:Education: High school diploma required1-2 years of experience in material handling, shipping-receiving, warehouse, and forklift operations.Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.Pride Health and its affiliates offers eligible employees comprehensive healthcare coverage (medical, dental, and vision plans), supplemental coverage (accident insurance, critical illness insurance and hospital indemnity), 401(k)-retirement savings, life & disability insurance, an employee assistance program, legal support, auto, home insurance, pet insurance and employee discounts with preferred vendors.Equal employment opportunity: Pride Health is an equal opportunity employer.
