Hiring Agency: Headquarters, Air Force Reserve Command This is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) position. Key Responsibilities The primary purpose of this position is: As an Air Reserve Technician (ART) provides an interface between the aircraft maintenance activity and the logistics support activities which provide equipment, supplies, parts and components. Additionally, position provides training to reservists in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein. Plan, organize and direct the activities of the Decentralized Materiel Support (DMS) function within the Logistics Readiness Squadron, ensuring equipment support complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Represents unit in working with supply support organizations to determine requirements and the capability of supply to support those requirements. Serves as the Decentralized Materiel Support for assistance on issues concerning Depot Level Reparables (DLRs). Accountability of supply and equipment assets. Requirements & Education IF USING EDUCATION TO QUALIFY: If position has a positive degree requirement or education forms the basis for qualifications, you MUST submit transcripts with the application. Official transcripts are not required at the time of application; however, if position has a positive degree requirement, qualifying based on education alone or in combination with experience, transcripts must be verified prior to appointment. An accrediting institution recognized by the U.S. Department of Education must accredit education. FOREIGN EDUCATION: Education completed in foreign colleges or universities may be used to meet the requirements. You must show proof the education credentials have been deemed to be at least equivalent to that gained in conventional U.S. education program.
