Surgical Technologist

Find Your Calling at Mercy! Performs the primary function of a Surgical Technologist in the Operating Room. Maintains accountability for the provision of surgical instruments to the surgical team. Coordinates the care of the surgical patient with other team members. Maintains patient rights and confidentiality. Position Details Minimum Qualifications (Level II) Education: High‑School Diploma or GED required. Proof of education may be requested. Licensure: Non‑certified applicants may be considered with acceptable surgical technology experience. Experience: Acceptable surgical technology experience required. Certifications: American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) required. Other: Must understand English both written and spoken, and be able to safely and successfully perform job‑related functions, with or without reasonable accommodation required by federal, state, or local law.
