Customer Service Representative

Direct Hire | 1st Shift

Pay: $21$25/hour

Our client is seeking a Customer Service Representative to support service technicians and customers by handling service and sales orders, answering product-related inquiries, and delivering outstanding customer service. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity on 1st shift.

Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Answer phone calls and emails from customers and service technicians in a timely and professional manner
  • Provide accurate technical information while ensuring compliance with company policies
  • Recommend corrective services to resolve customer issues and complaints
  • Maintain and update customer files
  • Enter sales orders using OMS/WMS systems
  • Assist customers in identifying appropriate part numbers
  • Prepare and provide quotes, order confirmations, and shipment tracking information
  • Respond to customer inquiries and follow up as needed
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer concerns

Supervisory Responsibilities:

  • This position does not have supervisory responsibilities

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence
  • Strong verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively convey information to customers
  • Previous experience using OMS/WMS platforms
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills, critical thinking abilities, and the ability to work collaboratively with others

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment

Education and/or Experience:

  • Minimum of two years of customer service experience
