In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank's operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels Job Purpose Responsible for managing taxation and regulatory operations related to digital banking transactions, ensuring accurate GST, TDS, and TCS calculations, regulatory reporting, compliance with RBI and tax regulations, and timely reconciliation of tax-related financial entries. Key Responsibilities Calculate, validate, and reconcile GST applicable to banking products, digital payment transactions, and service charges. Manage end-to-end GST reporting, tax reconciliations, and statutory compliance. Process and validate TDS deductions on applicable banking transactions and vendor payments. Calculate and apply TCS on Liberalized Remittance Scheme (LRS) and other eligible transactions as per Income Tax regulations. Review digital payment transactions to determine applicable tax treatment and ensure accurate tax accounting. Monitor changes in GST, TDS, TCS, and Income Tax regulations and implement process updates. Prepare periodic tax MIS, regulatory reports, and management dashboards. Coordinate with Finance, Taxation, Compliance, Technology, and Operations teams to resolve tax-related issues. Support internal, statutory, and regulatory audits by providing tax documentation, reconciliations, and evidence. Perform tax GL reconciliation and ensure timely resolution of unreconciled items. Identify opportunities for automation and process improvements in tax calculation, reporting, and compliance. Maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process notes, and operational controls for taxation activities. Ensure compliance with RBI guidelines, GST laws, Income Tax Act, and internal governance policies. Experience in Banking Taxation, Financial Operations, Regulatory Reporting, or Digital Payments Operations. Knowledge of GST laws, Income Tax Act (TDS/TCS), RBI regulations, and banking operations.
