Missions

The Director of Marketing and Communications is the strategic architect and guardian of the hotel’s brand reputation, market positioning, and guest engagement strategy. This leader develops and executes integrated marketing, communications, public relations, digital, social media, partnerships, and guest acquisition initiatives that reinforce The Vineta Hotel as a premier ultra-luxury destination. A specific focus is placed on local community building through different tactics, ensuring the hotel becomes the epicenter of Palm Beach culture and engages loyal Oetker Hotels clients residing in Palm Beach. Working closely with the General Manager, Sales, Revenue Management, Operations, Food & Beverage, and Corporate Brand teams, the Director of Marketing and Communications ensures every initiative supports revenue performance while protecting the elegance, refinement, and inimitable spirit of The Vineta Hotel.

This role is part of The Vineta Hotel’s Executive Committee leadership team and reports directly to the Managing Director of the property.

Profile

• Demonstrates strong luxury brand leadership with the ability to represent and protect the hotel’s identity across all guest, marketing and communications touchpoints.
• High entrepreneurial spirit aligned with Oetker Hotels vision, target guest, and the distinctive character of The Vineta Hotel.
• Proven ability to develop strategic, multi-channel marketing plans that support revenue, reputation, and long-term brand desirability.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage ownership, corporate teams, media, partners, guests, and the local community in a polished, creative, and thoughtful manner.
• Natural relationship builder with strong cultural awareness, creativity, and sound judgment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to evaluate performance, market trends, guest behavior, and campaign ROI.
• Develop and implement the annual marketing, communications, digital, PR, social media, CRM, and partnership strategy for the hotel.
• Serve as brand guardian, ensuring all creative, written, digital, printed, and guest-facing communications reflect The Vineta Hotel standards and tone of voice.
• Lead storytelling initiatives across accommodations, restaurants and bar, courtyard, spa and wellness, cultural programming, private events, and local experiences.
• Partner with Sales and Revenue Management to create demand-generation campaigns, packages, offers, and tactical initiatives that support occupancy, rate, RevPAR, and ancillary revenue goals.
