Job Overview Join Aurora Health Care as a General Surgeon in Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin. The role replaces a retiring surgeon and is part of Advocate Health, one of the largest nonprofit integrated health systems in the country. Responsibilities and Highlights Full‑time general surgery position with a robust, fulfilling practice. Surgeries performed at a newer 60‑bed, Level III community hospital in Mount Pleasant. Full breadth of general surgery with outstanding variety in a collaborative and collegial environment. Patient draw supports a robust practice in a growing area. State‑of‑the‑art facility with physician offices, 5 exam rooms, and a dedicated procedure room. Excellent support staff including registered nurses, medical assistants, and 3 shared APPs. Manageable call schedule: 1:3 with weekend call, 1:6. EPIC EMR and AI‑powered clinical documentation tool DAX Copilot integrated with Epic. Environment providing safe and equitable care for all patients. Community near Lake Michigan, with access to metropolitan Milwaukee and Chicago, and excellent outdoor recreation.
