Level Designer

Passionate about crafting engaging gameplay, the full-time Level Designer will collaborate with the Lead Level Designer and Creative Director to pitch, build, polish, and ship levels using Unreal Engine, ensuring high-quality and memorable experiences for players. Key responsibilities Develop single player and cooperative levels from design documents, iterating based on feedback and project deadlines Prototype, iterate, and polish gameplay in collaboration with narrative designers, enemy designers, and artists to enhance mission experiences Mentor junior level designers, fostering a positive work ethic and providing constructive feedback during the design process Required qualifications Proven track record of building and shipping large level environments, with documentation showcasing design and iteration processes Understanding of modern level design practices, including layout, pacing, and creating enjoyable player experiences Strong aesthetic sensibility and ability to collaborate effectively with art teams; previous art experience is a plus Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills, with a focus on project goals Experience shipping a AAA title, preferably utilizing Unreal technology and in the first-person shooter genre Virtual Vocations Inc
