We are creating a brand-new role for a sharp, driven person who wants to spend their days learning and building with AI. The AI Enablement Associate will be the dedicated resource for our AI Committee, a group of partners and team members who have spent the past year exploring what AI can do for the firm. They set the strategy and roadmap, and this role supports the execution. We have been growing over the last few years and are now a firm of about 85+ people, so there is no shortage of interesting problems to solve.

As our first AI Enablement Associate, your week might run from digging into a new tool the committee wants evaluated, to building a working prototype for a specific team's workflow, to walking the committee through what you built and what you learned. You'll turn the committee's ideas into working tools that measurably improve our work, our client service, and our teammates' day-to-day.

THE SKILL SET

• This is an entry-level role, open to current students, recent graduates, and those with a few years of early experience.
\n
• Quick learner. You pick up new tools and concepts fast, teach yourself what you don't know, and gain competence quickly.
\n
• Driven and hard-working. You exhibit energy, a strong desire to achieve, and a high level of dedication. Ok with putting in the extra time to get things done at a high level of quality.
\n
• Hands-on curiosity about AI. You've played with generative AI tools on your own (prompting, scripting, building small prototypes) because you find it genuinely interesting.
\n
• Effective communicator. The ability to explain what you did and what you learned, clearly and honestly, to people who aren't technical. A big part of this role is reporting back to the committee in a way they can act on.
\n
• Team player. Approachable, humble, and coachable attitude. You take direction/feedback well, like learning, and are comfortable saying “I don't know yet, but I'll find out.”
\n
• Client focused. You establish partner relationships with internal clients (e.g., the committee, the broader team, etc.). Visible & accessible. You are curious and ask good questions. Good judgment and discretion, especially around confidential client information.
\n
• A bachelor's degree, or equivalent practical experience and self-taught ability. We're open to non-traditional backgrounds if you can show us what you can do.

WITHIN 1 MONTH, YOU'LL

\n

\n
• Complete new hire orientation and onboarding.
\n
• Complete introductory training and familiarize yourself with how the firm works day to day.
\n
• Meet the AI Committee, understand what they've explored over the past year, and learn how they want to work with you.
\n
• Begin learning about our core systems and tools, including our tax and accounting software (e.g. CCH Engagement), document management, and workflows.
\n
• Begin growing your internal network by meeting with Supervisors, Managers, and Partners across departments.
\n
• Take on your first assignments from the committee, get hands-on quickly, and start building a rhythm of doing the work and reporting back what you find.
\n

WITHIN 6 MONTHS, YOU'LL

\n

\n
• Own a steady flow of projects scoped by the committee, taking each from a rough idea to something real you can demonstrate.
\n
• Build and ship your first working prototypes, creating or configuring AI tools, scripts, or workflows that solve a specific problem for a specific team.
\n
• Evaluate new tools the committee is curious about and report back with a clear, honest read on what they can and can't do.
\n
• Present your work to the committee regularly, showing a working demo alongside a short write-up of what you built, what you learned, and what you'd recommend next.
\n
• Test your work carefully and keep a human in the loop, so that anything that goes into real use is reliable and trusted.
\n
• Follow the firm's responsible-use guidelines, and help teammates understand the difference between public, internal, and confidential data.
\n
• Complete your 30-60-90 Day onboarding plan.
\n
• Have two Quarterly Conversations with your leader.
\n

THE ROLE, ONCE YOU'RE UP TO SPEED

\n

As you find your footing, you'll take on the full scope of the role and grow into more responsibility over time:

• Have a track record of shipped projects behind you, with several tools moved from prototype into everyday use by real teams.
\n
• Build and implement AI tools, assistants, automated workflows, and agents for teams across the firm.
\n
• Help partners and staff get comfortable with tools like Microsoft Copilot, and build a growing library of prompts, reference guides, workshops, and hands-on resources that make AI approachable for non-technical teammates.
\n
• Work with departments to spot where AI and automation could save time or improve quality, and bring those ideas back to the committee.
\n
• Follow and help reinforce the firm's responsible-AI, security, and confidentiality practices.
\n
• Evaluate new AI tools the committee is curious about and report back with a clear, honest recommendation.
\n
• Track how your tools are being used and the difference they're making, and fold that into your reports back to the committee.
\n
• Start contributing your own ideas to the committee's roadmap as your judgment and firm knowledge deepen.
\n
