Banking Operations - Loan, Deposit & Treasury Overview We are seeking several highly experienced Banking Operations professionals to play a critical role in building a new operations team from the ground up in Birmingham, AL. This is a unique opportunity to assist with building processes within banking operations as part of a new core system implementation. Key Responsibilities Design, document, and implement end-to-end workflows, SOPs, and controls across: Loan Operations (processing, booking, funding, servicing) Deposit Operations (account opening, maintenance, servicing) Treasury/Payments (ACH, wires, Positive Pay, lockbox) Build operational framework from scratch, including procedures, controls, and documentation Core System Implementation Serve as a key operational partner in the implementation of Jack Henry SilverLake (or similar core platform) Partner with technology and leadership teams to align operational processes with system capabilities Execution & Day-to-Day Operations Perform and oversee critical operational activities across loan, deposit, and/or treasury functions Manage full lifecycle processing within your area of expertise (loan, deposit, or payments) Handle exception processing, reconciliations, and issue resolution Support onboarding of new products, services, and clients Qualifications 5+ years’ experience within banking operations Experience with core banking systems such as Jack Henry SilverLake, Fiserv, or FIS would be ideal Proven ability to build or improve processes in a transformation or startup-like environment High attention to detail with strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving, and ambiguous environment For immediate consideration, please click “Apply” and use Job Code BHJOB11837_4367.
