Registered Nurse CDU

$15,000 Bonus Eligible paid in 3, 6, and 12 months!!! (for 1+ years ONLY!)

Hours: 36 hours (Full Time)

Shift: Nights 7pm-7am (12 hour shifts ---3x per week)

Who We Are:

The Clinical Decision Units is a 10-bed observation telemetry unit with an average census of 8-10 patients. It is the sister unit to our 47 bed intermediate care unit.  We have 149 employees between the units. You would be hired as a CICU employee, primary CDU, meaning you will be primarily scheduled in CDU with occasional shifts in CICU. The CDU specializes in observation patients with diagnosis such as cardiac, infectious, neuro, and occasionally CICU/Med surg overflow. The CDU has Nurse to patient ratios of 1:3-5 and LNA to patient ratios of 1:10.

About the Job:

The CDU Registered Nurse delivers care to patients and families with needs ranging from basic to complex utilizing the nursing process. Creates a therapeutic and caring environment for patient and families. Practices in a manner consistent with the Elliot Hospital Interprofessional Practice model; the ANA’s Social Policy Statement, Scope and Standards of Practice, and the Nursing Code of Ethics; and relevant specialty standards of practice.

Who You Are:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current New Hampshire, compact, or multistate licensure as Registered Nurse required.
• Ability to obtain BLS qualification during orientation period and maintain during employment. ACLS preferred.
