Position Summary
Maintain surveillance system/network which includes but not limited to installing cameras; pulling and terminating network cabling; ensures proper operation of networked switches, cameras and associated surveillance equipment by using established troubleshooting procedures and conducting preventative maintenance. Provide end-user support in a Microsoft Windows environment.

This position has Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) identified as a measurement of success. KPI's will be shared to all team members who work in this job title and feedback will be provided regarding the successful completion of the KPI's as part of the performance review process.

Physical Requirement
Description
Balancing
Maintaining body equilibrium to prevent falling and walking, standing, or crouching on narrow, slippery, or erratically moving surfaces. This factor is important if the amount of balancing exceeds that needed for ordinary locomotion and maintenance of body equilibrium.
Climbing
Ascending or descending ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps, poles and the like, using feet and legs and/or hands and arms. Body agility is emphasized. This factor is important if the amount and kind of climbing required exceeds that required for ordinary locomotion.
Crawling
Moving about on hands and knees or hands and feet.
Crouching
Bending the body downward and forward by bending leg and spine.
Feeling
Perceiving attributes of objects, such as size, shape, temperature, or texture by touching with skin, particularly that of fingertips. Finger Dexterity Picking, pinching, typing or otherwise working, primarily with fingers rather than with the whole hand as in handling.
Grasping
Applying pressure to an object with the fingers and palm.
Hearing
Perceiving the nature of sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction. Ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and to make the discriminations in sound.
Kneeling
Bending legs at knee to come to a rest on knee or knees.
Lifting
Raising objects from a lower to a higher position or moving objects horizontally from position-to-position. This factor is important if it occurs to a considerable degree and requires substantial use of upper extremities and back muscles. (Up to 50 lbs.)
Pulling
Using upper extremities to exert force to draw, haul, or tug objects in a sustained motion. (Up to 50 lbs.)
Pushing
Using upper extremities to press against something with steady force to thrust forward, downward, or outward. (Up to 50 lbs.)
Reaching
Extending hand(s) and arm(s) in any direction.
Seeing
The ability to perceive the nature of objects by the eye.
Walking
Job requirements include, in the performance of duties, walking throughout the work area, on various work surfaces throughout internal or external locations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Installs surveillance cameras and associated equipment and pulls above-ceiling cabling for new camera installs as required.
- Responsible for the maintenance of all surveillance equipment.
- Troubleshoots equipment, following established procedures and industry best-practices to maintain proper operation.
- Recommends to the Surveillance Maintenance Supervisor and Surveillance Manager, any required installations or replacements of surveillance equipment.
- Recommends to the Surveillance Maintenance Supervisor and Surveillance Manager, any needed tools or accessories to keep equipment functioning.
- Maintains official log of equipment maintenance activity.
- Completes daily activity report.
- Maintains confidentiality of duties, reports, investigations, and any other departmental information, at all times.
- Works within, adheres to, and contributes to the established operational chain of command.
- Builds a professional relationship with all team members and work associates, while supporting a strong collaborative work environment.
- Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members and are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia.
- Supports a single function and holds a position that does not supervise people but provides guidance to lower-level Team Members as needed.
- Functions as an advisor to management due to the complexity of the level of work performed.
- May hold current licenses, certifications, specialized education, and possess stipulated technical expertise as required.
- Demonstrates advanced knowledge in all aspects of the specialized function.
- Performs work as a highly skilled individual contributor and considered a subject matter expert within the peer set, particularly with problem-solving.
- Critical thinking and the ability to analyze issues, identify solutions, and implement them effectively.

- Ability to learn, understand, and follow NIGC Regulations, Surveillance Standard Operating Procedures and Sandia Casino Internal Controls.

- Ability to pass a stringent criminal and credit background investigation.
- Working knowledge of the following systems or applications is preferred:
- Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook - 2007 or newer)

- High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent.
- Two (2) years of video surveillance installation and repair experience.
License/Certifications/Registrations
- Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
- Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
