Research And Development EngineerThis is an onsite entry level role located in Richardson, TX.What You Will Do:As a Research Engineer with the Mission Applied Science and Technology (MAST) group, we apply fundamental technical principles rooted in math, science, and engineering to develop new concepts to extract information from multi-sensor data sources. Capabilities are researched, developed and matured for operational deployment to commercial cloud computing environment. We work in a secure, collaborative, team-oriented environment to develop solutions for the US Government that solve problems important to national security.Qualifications You Must Have:0+ years of experience with a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Data Science, or related Science, obtained by start date.Some software development experience in python or C/C++Experience in at least one of the following: using commercial cloud services, developing algorithms in a Linux environment, training a model using a machine learning framework, Agile development, using Git on a software development projectExperience may be obtained through on-the-job experience, research, coursework, or projects.Qualifications We Prefer:Prior RTX internship, co-op, or work experience.Experience with commercial cloud computing, DevSecOps, and High Performance ComputingAbility to obtain TS/SCI clearanceWhat We Offer:Our values drive our actions, behaviors, and performance with a vision for a safer, more connected world. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
