Senior Medical Science Liaison - Obesity & Related Conditions - IA/NE/SD

Amgen Inc

Senior Medical Science Liaison role focused on obesity and related conditions across Iowa, Nebraska, and South Dakota. Serves as scientific resource to healthcare providers and decision-makers, executing Amgen's medical strategy to improve patient outcomes through evidence-based engagement and clinical support.

Responsibilities

Conduct peer-to-peer scientific exchanges with obesity specialists, community providers, and healthcare decision-makers
Engage clinical investigators and research sites supporting obesity pipeline development
Present clinical, scientific, and economic data to institutional decision-makers within healthcare networks
Support sponsored and non-sponsored clinical research as study lead or liaison
Communicate field observations and scientific insights to internal teams to inform strategy

Requirements

Doctorate degree with 2+ years medical affairs experience, OR Master's with 6+ years, OR Bachelor's with 8+ years
Proven experience in clinical practice, clinical research, or medical research
2+ years as Medical Science Liaison in biotech or pharmaceutical company
Strong scientific communication and relationship-building capabilities
Cardiometabolic and/or obesity clinical expertise (preferred)
Field-based availability across assigned territory
