Position Summary

The Order Selector accurately selects, organizes, and stages customer orders in a fast-paced food-distribution warehouse. The position requires stand-up forklift or electric pallet-jack experience and comfort working in refrigerated areas.

Key Responsibilities

• Select and prepare customer orders accurately.

• Operate a stand-up forklift or electric pallet jack.

• Use RF scanners, pick tickets, or warehouse systems to locate products.

• Verify item numbers, product quantities, and expiration dates.

• Build stable pallets and properly wrap completed orders.

• Label, stage, and prepare orders for shipment.

• Move products throughout refrigerated and temperature-controlled warehouse areas.

• Report shortages, damaged products, and inventory discrepancies.

• Meet established productivity and order-accuracy expectations.

• Follow food-safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and assist with other warehouse duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous order-selection, warehouse, or food-distribution experience preferred.

• Stand-up forklift or electric pallet-jack experience required.

• Ability to pass a forklift assessment before starting.

• Comfortable working in refrigerated or temperature-controlled environments.

• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

• Ability to stand, bend, reach, twist, and perform physical work throughout the shift.

• Must be available Sunday through Thursday and for mandatory overtime.

• Dependable attendance and strong attention to detail required.

Schedule and Overtime Notice

• All shifts are subject to overtime.

• Sunday and Monday: Mandatory 12-hour shifts.

• Tuesday through Saturday: Required overtime as needed.

Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hour
