Full-Time Program Supervisor Needed for our Community Home Therapeutic Services Program in Rhode Island!

Schedule: Full-Time; 40 hours per week

Salary: $55,000- $66,000 Annually

Sign-On Bonus: $1,500!

The Groden Center's Community and Home Therapeutic Services (CHTS) department is hiring a full-time Program Supervisor to work with children in our Home Based Therapeutic Services and PASS programs. Our clients are diagnosed with autism and/or have special learning needs. As a Program Supervisor, you will be part of our team of experienced and creative professionals, providing clinical oversight and supervision of home and clinic-based treatment programs for children of all ages starting as young as 2 years old. You will monitor and coordinate the activities that support the clinical team in all aspects of the development, implementation, monitoring, and modification or treatment plans for HBTS, PASS, PFEP clients. You will manage activities conducted on behalf of a specific child to ensure coordination among all relevant caregivers.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in field related to children with behavioral health care needs, with coursework in behavior analysis
• A minimum of 6 months of direct care supervision under a BCBA
• Extensive direct experience working directly with children/families with special needs and familiarity with behavior reduction and skill acquisition programming with home-bases services
• Knowledge and skill in applying behavioral and developmental principles, solid verbal and written communication skills
• Interpersonal and organizational skills to work with a supervisory team

Responsibilities:

• Working with families and clients
• Participate in training activities for direct care staff, both child-specific and didactic, as well as preparation of All Staff Training
• Assist in developing assigned portions of Treatment Plans and progress notes
• Assist in the recruitment, screening, interviewing and training of all new CHTS staff
• Work assigned direct service hours and maintain a productivity billable percentage of at least 80% of these scheduled hours
• Provide staff evaluations
• Meet regularly with clinicians and direct care staff to discuss progress and needs
• Availability to conduct home/clinic visits for all clients; review data and assess program implementation, assess staff need, provide staff feedback and submit feedback forms
• Communicate any medical, physical, or other changes in child/family circumstances to clinical supervisor and/or program director\
• Communicate with families, co-workers, direct care staff, agency staff, and external representatives in a clear, organized, professional, and respectful manner
• Drive personal vehicle to transport a child to community-based activities. Must have valid driver's license
• Perform others duties as directed by program director related to the organization's mission, goals and operations; must be On Call for CHTS when assigned
• Responsibilities of job demand flexibility in hours and days worked as well as tasks required depending on the needs of the program and individuals served (evenings and weekends required)
• Intervention with children who may exhibit maladaptive behaviors such as enuresis, encopresis, spitting, aggression, self-injury, or elopement to carry out behavioral plan
