Compass Pointe Loan ProcessorCompass Pointe Consulting is seeking an experienced Loan Processor to support customers throughout the mortgage process. This individual will coordinate with borrowers, loan officers, sales teams, underwriters, and closing personnel to ensure loan files are complete, accurate, and processed on schedule. The Loan Processor will manage multiple loan files, collect required documentation, monitor outstanding items, and keep customers and internal partners informed throughout the process. This is an on-site position based in a mortgage office.Primary Responsibilities:Manage residential mortgage files from application through closingMaintain regular communication with borrowers and internal business partnersCollect, review, and record borrower and property documentationSet up loan files and order required items, including credit reports, employment verifications, deposit verifications, appraisals, and other exhibitsIdentify missing or incomplete documentation and follow up promptlyMonitor submitted and pending loans to ensure deadlines are metCoordinate with loan officers, underwriters, sales teams, and closing personnelPrepare closing paperwork and verify loan files for accuracy and completenessMaintain accurate records and follow applicable lending and compliance proceduresProvide responsive, professional customer service throughout the mortgage processQualifications:At least two years of mortgage loan-processing experience preferredKnowledge of real estate documentation, underwriting guidelines, compliance requirements, and mortgage procedures preferredExcellent customer service and communication skillsStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to manage multiple loan files and competing deadlinesStrong follow-through and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to handle confidential financial information professionallyComfortable working in a collaborative, fast-paced office environment
