Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental and emotional health, ensuring a tailored approach to each individual. \n
- Formulate and implement evidence-based treatment plans through collaborative discussions with clients, regularly assessing their effectiveness and making adjustments as necessary. \n
- Provide individual therapy to clients, addressing an array of mental health concerns including stress management, depression, anxiety, and trauma. \n
- Facilitate couples therapy sessions, assisting partners in enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and building stronger relationships. \n
- Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical documentation standards. \n
- Engage actively in crisis intervention when necessary, providing immediate support to clients experiencing acute distress. \n
- Participate in interdisciplinary collaborations, working closely with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive care. \n
- Stay abreast of developments in the field through ongoing education and training opportunities, integrating new knowledge and techniques into practice. \n

Qualifications\n- \n
- A Master’s Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related academic field. \n
- An active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist issued by the State of California. \n
- Proven experience in delivering individual and/or couples therapy, with a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques. \n
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex concepts clearly to clients and their families. \n
- Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a commitment to completing assessments and documentation in a timely manner. \n

- A minimum of one year of experience as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, ideally in an outpatient setting. \n
- Experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with varied mental health issues. \n
