Key Responsibilities: Operate large-format flatbed UV printers (e.g., Vanguard, Digitech) for daily print runs. Set up files and substrates correctly for each job, ensuring proper alignment and print quality. Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting of printers (e.g., head cleanings, nozzle checks). Inspect printed parts for defects such as banding, misregistration, or color issues. Accurately record job data, material usage, and print times in production logs. Assist with pre-press setup and post-print finishing (e.g., trimming, cleaning, staging for CNC). Keep print area clean and organized; adhere to shop safety standards. Communicate with production manager and other team members to prioritize workflow. Skills and Qualifications: Technical Proficiency: A strong understanding of printing equipment, processes, and techniques is essential.
