About the Position

Emergency MD

Location: AZ

Schedule: Day and night 12-hour shifts (7:00 AM–7:00 PM / 7:00 PM–7:00 AM); 7–14 shifts per month (as documented)

Position Overview

• Emergency medicine coverage in an acute care hospital setting
• Floor code response required (as documented)
• Document patient care using EPIC

Facility / Coverage Details

• 55-bed hospital
• ED beds: 18 (15 ED, 3 observation)
• Estimated annual ED volume: 16,000

Required Qualifications

• Active Arizona medical license
• BC (ABEM) or BE Emergency Medicine (as documented)
• Greater than 50 emergency medicine cases within the prior 12 months required for privileges (as documented)

Credentialing / Onboarding Items

• Onboarding/credentialing timeframe: 60–120 days (as documented)
