Job Description UW Medical Center – Northwest has an opportunity for an experienced Registered Nurse who is interested in working at our Childbirth Center. We have opportunity for an experienced nurse in Labor and Delivery or Nursery Care Unit /Neonatal ICU RESPONSIBILITIES: include but not limited to The autonomy to practice to highest level of license. Assist in the labor and delivery process Administration of medication, including epidurals. Help mother and baby in baby’s first breastfeeding Assist in mother and baby couplet care. SCHEDULE: 90% Night shift (36hrs.Weekly) REQUIREMENTS: Two or more years as a Labor and Delivery Nurse or Level II or higher Neonatal ICU Have/Obtain a RN license to practice in Washington state or MSL. Certification pay $1.25/hr. Night Shift Differential $5.00/hr. Weekend shift Differential $4.00/hr.-Sunday night premium $3.00/hr.
