Travel Respiratory Therapist - $1,756 per week

Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Respiratory Therapist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 06/01/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours Employment Type: Travel We’re hiring an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for a hospital in Wyandotte, MI. You will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate treatment, care, and needs of patients with breathing disorders. The role includes operating ventilatory equipment, performing airway management and suctioning, conducting oximetry and capnography monitoring, performing 12-lead EKGs and basic arrhythmia recognition, assisting with procedures such as bronchoscopy and chest tube placement, and providing patient education and transport as medically prescribed. You will document treatments and patient responses, communicate with physicians, and maintain respiratory equipment and charging documentation. Minimum Qualifications: Associate or bachelor’s degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science program. Current state Respiratory Therapist license in good standing. One year experience as an RRT. BLS certification. ACLS certification required prior to hire. (Client-specific requirement.) Preferred Qualifications: Experience with invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation management. Experience performing arterial puncture and pulmonary function studies. Experience in an acute hospital setting or with moderate complexity labs. Assignment Details Shift pattern: Night, 4x12. Duration: 13 week assignment. Must have ACLS prior to hire.
