Radiation Therapist
Location: In Person
Job Type: Full-Time
Pay: $1,600.00 – $2,324.69 per week
About the Role
We are hiring a dedicated Radiation Therapist to deliver precise radiation treatments and support patients through cancer care and other prescribed radiation therapy. This is a hands-on clinical role for someone who can operate advanced equipment accurately, follow treatment plans closely, and work with compassion.
You will collaborate with physicians, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to provide safe, high-quality care.
What You’ll Do
- Administer external beam radiation therapy on TrueBeam according to prescribed treatment plans
- Perform CT simulation to support treatment planning and patient positioning
- Operate and maintain treatment planning, documentation, and quality-assurance software
- Monitor patients during treatment and address immediate concerns
- Follow radiation safety standards, safety protocols, and facility policies
- Keep accurate records of treatments, equipment calibration, and patient response
- Work closely with the care team to support strong patient outcomes
What We’re Looking For
- Radiation Therapist certification or licensure that meets local regulatory standards
- Experience operating a linear accelerator
- Experience performing CT simulation for treatment planning
- Knowledge of advanced techniques such as IGRT and IMRT
- Familiarity with medical software used for planning, documentation, and quality assurance
- Strong understanding of radiation safety and patient care standards
- Clear communication skills with patients and clinical teams
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure
