Job Description

Armada Staffing Group is currently seeking an experienced and dependable MIG/TIG Welder for a short-term project in Columbus, OH. We are looking for a skilled welder with experience performing MIG and TIG welding on small steel components in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality welds, follows safety procedures, and is committed to completing the full one-week project with excellent attendance and reliability.
Shift/Hours:

• Pay Rate: $35.00/hour
• Monday - Friday
• 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM (first day start time may vary)
• Approximately 50 hours of work
• 1-week temporary project

Requirements:

• Previous MIG and TIG welding experience required
• Ability to perform precision welding on small parts
• Ability to read and follow basic work instructions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to pass a background check, drug test,
• Reliable transportation and ability to work the entire scheduled project

Responsibilities:

• Perform MIG/TIG welding on small steel components at a workbench
• Weld extensions onto 1-inch square steel tubing according to specifications
• Inspect welds for quality, accuracy, and proper finish
• Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area
• Complete assigned welding tasks within project deadlines
• Maintain consistent attendance throughout the one-week assignment
